These terms govern the use of Vem Escavar.
Vem Escavar is a platform that aggregates and publishes opportunities to take part in archaeological excavations, connecting participants with organizing entities.
You must be at least 16 to create an account and use Vem Escavar. By creating an account, you declare that you are. We do not ask for your date of birth: it would be one more piece of personal data held by us for a check we cannot make anyway. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we delete it.
Organization registration is subject to approval. Each user is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and for the security of their credentials.
Organizations are solely responsible for the opportunities they publish. False, illegal, or infringing content is prohibited. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Vem Escavar aggregates and publishes opportunities but does not organize the excavations nor is a party to the relationship between participants and organizations. We do not guarantee the availability or outcome of any opportunity.
To the extent permitted by law, Vem Escavar is not liable for damages arising from the use of the platform or from participation in listed excavations.
The Vem Escavar brand, design and code are protected. Content submitted by organizations remains their responsibility, with a licence granted to us to display it on the platform.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction over disputes — but not exclusively. If you use the site as a consumer and live in another country, you may still go to the courts where you live, and the consumer-protection rules there still apply to you.
