This policy explains how Vem Escavar processes your personal data under the GDPR.
The controller of your data is Daniel Fino. Vem Escavar is a personal project, with no commercial purpose and no company behind it. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, write to privacidade@vemescavar.pt.
Account data (name, email), organization profile (name, contacts, description), published opportunities, contact-form messages, favorites, and images you upload.
We process your data to provide the service (performance of a contract), respond to enquiries and send account-related notifications (legitimate interest/consent), and keep the platform secure.
We use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication and image storage), Vercel (site hosting and, through Vercel Analytics, visit counts without cookies and without identifying who is visiting), Resend (email delivery), GitHub (keeps the daily database backup, which includes the accounts, for 14 days) and Google (only if you choose to sign in with your Google account, which confirms to us who you are). Map tiles come from CARTO and Esri, and it is your browser that fetches them directly: to deliver them, they receive your IP address and the map area you are viewing. Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards.
We keep your data while your account exists. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and to meet legal obligations.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these, contact privacidade@vemescavar.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country (in Portugal, the CNPD).
We use only essential cookies for authentication and session. Analytics (Vercel Analytics) does not use tracking cookies.
We may update this policy. For any privacy question, contact privacidade@vemescavar.pt.
